Personal information from prospective tenants, buyers, and guarantors. The personal and business information that a prospective tenant, buyer, or guarantor provides to this company is primarily used to evaluate creditworthiness and financial capacity, which may include obtaining consumer reports, business credit reports, background checks, and rental or occupancy history. Information in those reports may be discussed with the property owners and landlords this company represents or for whom it manages property.
Personal information from owners of properties managed by the company. When this company acts as a property manager for a property owner, the company uses the property owner’s personal information only to deliver the required management services, to file any required reports with governmental agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service, to establish ACH deposits, or for other purposes the property owner may authorize, such as arranging utilities, insurance, or vendor services.
Personal information from clients.
